Loca KC racers: where is a good shop? And do you think a Racers Den would go over?
My time is horrid. I am not very good, I think my best in the 05 Corvette was 13.46 at 105.
Which of you local Kansas City area racers can recommend a top tuner/garage in the KC area? I have heard of MC Racing and was thinking of stoping by on Saturday Dyno days.
I would do more to my car, but I just cannot wrench anymore due to advanced degenerative disk (& joint) disease. Thirty + surgeries has taken away the one hobby I truly loved. Heck, I have even entertained opening a garage for do-it-yourselfers. Just so I can be around it some.
Of course, I could eventutally find a good mechanic that did little bolt on stuff.
Do you think there would be a good response to a "Racers Den" that had 2 lifts for those that wanted access to a lift? I would limit it American muscle. Let me know what you think? I would charge a small fee for the lift by the hour just to help pay for the lights and building. Maybe I could do racked storage, or something else that would generate income. I would have a lounge area, couches with cheap soda, and coffee too.
Let me know what you think? In the meantime tell me about a good place to have some work done in the KC area.

Pig off line. Bigger converter, 10lbs of boost, & maybe a transbrake should help.

10.31@130.27, 1.58 60 foot
370 ci, th350, 100 shot, raceweight is 3680.
Had nitrous issues, and melted a plug midway through high gear. Was hoping for 10.0s/9.90s. Its been low 6.40s in the 1/8 with a worse 60 foot.
