Yeah Elmer your car is flying! What does it weigh again? Are you running open headers, drag brakes and stuff?

 

Race weight is 3255-3260,Open headers with bullets,No drag brakes,just a glass pin on and lots of weight removal.Im gonna take out the heater core over the winter,probably do a K-member ,and possibly some brakes if the money is there .I spent about 8-9 grand last winter on it,including a new open trailer.To my supprise my trans held up for 35 runs this season ,all in the 10s with only shift kit and alto red bands,its basically a stocker!!!!!! I never make a pass if the tranny temp is over185-190.I think that is the key to it staying together,so far.John, we are gonna have too hook up next season,it was a lot of fun with all the cars Sunday,to bad we were not all at the same track.

 

Yeah it would be fun to race each other next year, cars might all be kinda close and all running stock cubes.

 

Hopefully next year I can lift a tire like Matt D's racecar.

 

Next year I will be dragging the bumper and then landing on the PINKS car

I'm going back to a stock efi motor on spray, so I'll take like 10 and the hit and we'll go from there.
