I don't think you would have been pleased with the outcome.

I'm not a big fan of spectators...it just increases your chances of getting in trouble. I usually just set something up with someone I know and go have fun on a back road somewhere.

I just need to work on getting things buttoned up on the camaro over the winter and getting a 12 bolt or 9 inch under it.

Are you gonna do the tranny rebuild yourself?
Sweet, it'll be on like donkey kong

Yeah, I'm rebuilding the trans myself. I just swapped a 4L80E into my buddy's truck (the Silverado with the 22s that was parked in my yard for about 2 months). He came over to show me his "built" 4L60E and we broke something right away. It's definitely a hard part, and I think it's the input shaft, though I haven't tore into it yet.

So anyways, I'm going to start with that core, since it's got the 5 pinion planetaries, billet servo, shift kit, converter.

Let me know if you want a hand turning wrenches on the Camaro. I'm aways up for that.

I appreciate the offer, but I really don't have anything too major planned. Lately it has just been attempting to dial in the suspension and doing a little data logging with the wideband.

If you guys are ever hanging around the garage doing stuff, let me know (you got my number). I doubt I could be of much help, but I'm pretty good at sitting on my ***...drinking beer...and bullshitting about cars.

Hell, if the weather clears up some night... I'm sure we could probably get the GTO and the Dmax race out of the way. I don't think the roads will make too much of a difference on the GTO's traction and I have a feeling the Dmax won't have any traction issues.

Ya i will want a rematch with Icrazy6 and maybe a run with HD88. All motor or bottle to bottle after i get my car tuned this spring. That is if i still have it. Im pretty sure my car will run a high 11 all motor after a tune.

Ken are you going back to Straightline any time soon?

Pddye what is your new ta like. Anything special?

Damn im ready for the spring already!

2fast - I'm still trying to figure all this computer stuff out but other than that the t/a's running really good. I can't wait to give it a shot of some gas and take it up to the track.
