Default Pinks

I loved seeing Nate get his *** handed to him tonight. When we raced him in Indy oh so long ago he tried to cheat and ended up in a tie. When he got out of his car at Indy he said "Say it's broken". They said they had a broken rocker arm and did not. Good cheating but dirty nonetheless. Tony settled for a tie. Tonight he got whooped, plane and simple. His crew had their collective head in their *** as well. Funny to watch someone who should know all the standard things to be checked and taken care of lose on account of a battery. Or maybe its just that he has his nose in the air most of the time and got it clipped.

Yeah. he was offered the job of technical assistant right after the race. I think Tony was offered one as well. I didn't know it was a rerun.

Nick? Chet? I don't remember anybody else coming down to Indy for that episode. It was fun though.

When I say we I say it as a former owner of shop and car. My gas, my car, my truck, my trailer, my foolishness in thinking I worked with someone I could trust. Hell, I didn't even know you went Mike, but now that I think of it I remember you did. I know you guys are kicking some *** nowadays. Good Luck to you and keep up the great work. Jim

Yeah, the car is running pretty good for stock internals, a basically stock tune, and a 8" slick. It has gone 11.42 @ 116.24 with a 1.47 60ft, which makes me the fastest in the Midwest and #9 in the country. (We can't all live down south, below sea level, and race 12 months out of the year ) The car weighs 3100 lbs with me in it, but that is about to change It should be about 2950 by the start of next season and have a good tune. It has been a long & trying year with the car, but Bill & all the guys at Straightline have been a BIG help In 2008 I should be seeing 11.0s.
