I think when we get close to the date, we all should plan on meeting up. I honestly don't know anybody on the boards, or met in person rather.

I live about 10 minutes from the track.

I was hanging out at a local shop just down the road, and they know the owners of the track pretty well......tickets sold out in under 12 MINUTES. I even believe the 22,000 "seated" tickets are sold out also. They had 26 people there to answer phones, and people lined up outside to buy tickets. Huron County reported a huge crunch on the phone system at noon when tickets went on sale.

Pretty impressive seeing as this didn't happen when the NHRA came to Norwalk this past summer.

Lets kick some *** guys!

i heard it was pretty crazy up at the offices up there today. i still dont know how i got in because i left work at 1130 and started trying at noon but didnt have any luck i would get so far then bam! internet explorer error. i must of got far enough somehow though because they sold out in 12 mins and i didnt get fully registered til 1255. so i called them just to make sure my confirmation was legit and i gave them the order number and they said i was in and it was processing. i swear it had to be my lucky day.

How much did a ticket cost? I didnt know you have to get one. What about the St. Louis race? Same thing I'm sure.

I didnt get through until around 1 and they said that I am in. Maybe they meant 11 minutes is the accumulative time the website was actually working.

I got through the website at 12:30 and it told me no tickets available.
about 12:50 i got through on the phones and they told me it sold out in 11 min. I saw another poster on another board that got put on a waiting list. they sayed nothing to me about it on the phone. Same person got a call that night and they said they had a lot of people double and triple registered so they had a slot for him. I am beyond pissed at this point i had 2 computers and 5 phones going on this ( my freinds at work ) Its one thing to just loose out, it's another when they seem to have turned me down twice while others got tickets afterwards

Well Ray you will feel better to know that they had an age limit for show insurance purposes and your old *** wouldn't have been able to race anyways.
