Smile M6 pedal removal

I am going to be taking out the m6 pedals and was wondering what the easiest way.You can either remove the steering column or leave it in and maneuver around it.Is there a right up, that can give some tips.Any help would be appreciated.

steering column, why??

its just a pedal set/box. few bolts under there that hold the whole assembly in, M6 or A4, either way.

Do yourself a favor and take the drivers side seat out. The four bolts it takes is well worth the extra room to work.
