Winter garage time!

I have a Dayton electric 280V unit heater in my garage, works exceptionally well, didnt want to worry about running a gas line to a unit heater so decided to mount and electric one from the ceiling.

I have a 40,000 BTU propane heater that works pretty well. I am wondering though how much carbon monoxide it gives off in my two stall garage if all doors are closed. Does anyone know how safe the levels are for propane space heaters? How about kerosene heaters? I guess I could open a window, but that kind of defeats the purpose a lil bit.
