Default Winter garage time!

Well, today starts one of many days in the garage working on the car, what do you guys use to stay warm? I just picked up a 60,000 BTU heater that runs off kerosene and deisel fuel . That and a few drinks should keep things toasty.

I know of a certian 3rd gen race car getting tinkered on as well

I've got a ventless wall heater, that when coupled with a fan, does pretty well at keeping my garage decently warm.

I use an electric heater with a fan. Got it at Lowes. Tried one without a fan, no dice. Let's face facts, it's freaking cold. If I could drive the car into the house, that would be better.

3rd gen huh.....?

also...my garage is attached to the house, so i just run a little electric heater with a fan within 5 feet of where i'm working and wear a sweatshirt, so far no issues.

300,000? thats fricken huge! i used to use 2 400,000 kerosene heaters ( the jet kinda type) to heat a 40,000 sq ft warehouse haha and they worked really well held it at about 65 degrees! but in my garage we ran a natural gas line from the house and have a 40,000 btu heaters in the rafters with a fan pointed down.......it still gets cold laying on the concrete though haha

Wow, if you needed to use a heater in the summer then you REALLY need to move somewhere warmer.

Anyone know how to get the longtubes off a 71 camaro with a BBC? I'm at a standstill right now, and i'd rather finish this before i move to interior work.

Garage is attached to house, is in a lower level below the bonus room. We installed insulated garage doors with great weatherstriping, and a well insulated/weatherstripped service door about 10 years ago. Stays a comfy 60 degrees in the winter with no heat.
