South Side used to mean 107th st west of La Grange back in the day. The big boys used to trailer in Hemis, Big Block Chevys etc. I went by there not long ago and they are still using the same launch area that was used in the 70s. Marks all over the street. Pretty cool.
Except now it's mostly 13 second cars. All the fast ones are either out south or in Indiana. And with the new laws, we'll be in Indiana alot this year.

thats the smart thing to do but for some reason there is some person that ruins it for everybody. but i would like to know where the hang out even is?
We have a road that we have been using for quite some time now and no one knows about it, and it will stay that way. That's why we don't bring any stupid kids out there with 13 second cars or ricers who don't race anyway.
If you get caught in Indiana street racing your still F$%^&ed. You go to court there, but when it is all said and done they transfer your driving record back to Illiniois.
With that being said does anyone know where to take a online defensive driving test???

F^$% these new laws they act like people do it on main streets with little kids playing on the side and that everyone is endangering the lives of other people when they arent
Its the whole race down the street in heavy traffic races that endanger people. Most of the big money races are set up an run better than an NHRA event at 66.
You can thank dumb **** 16 year old kids who do it right after leaving school down busy streets in their mom's 20 second Chrylser Sebrings. Judges don't ask you if it was an "organized" street race on a secluded road after hours. Trust me, I know.
