Default IL. to OH. car title transfer question

I "was given" a winter beater from a friend in IL. I am going to transfer the title tomorrow. I was surprised that the IL. title did not need to be notarized. I also do not see an area on the title where you state the price of the car. The car is a "gift" and in Ohio if the car is a gift there is no tax on the transaction. How will Ohio determine the price if there is no area on the IL. title for the price of the car?

Have your buddy that gave you the car make up a receipt that states he gave it to you free and clear and have him sign it and you should be ok. You may not even need that much. My best advice would be to call your local DMV and see what they suggest.
