R you guys going to race? I thought i heard or saw somewhere that u had to enter the car show to be able to race? I prob wont get there till 4-5pm and the car show will be over. Not that i can run worth a **** anyway on street tires!

yeah you have to be in the car show to race. Im still undecided weather i will enter the car show or not.

I know there is a get together same day but if anyone is interested a group of us are headed to topeka for some 1/4 mile runs. I have not had mine on a 1/4 mile other than Denver where I ran a 12.50 @ 111mph 1.80 60ft best I could bogging bad. Have gears and altitude on my side this time. Hope to have few good runs....

Thats right its this Saturday. I think we're going to have a great turnout. Wade is back in so the drink off is still on.

Anyone is welcomed to come Fremont Lakes Site 238 anytime after 1pm on saturday and people are staying into sunday. Weather is going to be 84 and partly cloudy. 10 cars that are 100% in and acouple said they were bringing friends so maybe 15. Sure we will pick acouple up in fremont to.

Those of you in NE we plan on hosting a race for a few different classes at MAM. We don't have a date set in stone as of yet but we're looking around the beginning of October. If we can get a good turn out MAM plans on throwing in on the purse as well.....my guess is the true street class will bring the biggest crowd which should fit most of us ls1 guys.

Also, keep in mind that when this race turns out as good as we expect there will be two more races next year as well. hopefully those will be held around the beginning and the end of the season.

So did anyone make it to st. paul for GCA days on the 10th of July? Was a badass time. There are quite a few video's on youtube of the 1/8 mile races. I had my mystic teal z28 there again. Raced a 2010 camaro with exhaust that was a 6 speed manual and then raced an 85 mustang with a bored over 460 and beat him bad too.

Well there was alotta cars, and alot raced, but not alot of fast cars like years past, except for me and some buddies. Oh and the nova with a 555 big block that runs 8's. lol

Damn, all this talk about Nebraska kinda makes me miss it a bit. Lived in Lincoln for 8 years and G.I. for 15. At least I made sure to leave a few parking lots with something to remember me by, rubber is still there till this day.

That was 2 years ago....LOL!
