Not fond of shell, car runs on it fine but gas mileage wasn't as good. Pretty much anything else works though (except I will not buy citgo, good thing there are none around here anymore).

Heard marathon has more gas less additives in it than others and thus can net better mpg but I haven't noticed a difference between it and anything else (aside from shell).

Of course I only need 87 in my car as well so maybe it isn't as sensitive as some of your cars are.

keep rockin the BP gas guys. i can tell you from experience that the ultimate is actually higher than the rated 93 octane. it goes through a whole extra process that is not used in other refineries. very high standards. all ultimate gasoline that is sold in the region comes from the whiting refinery. i'm sure its obvious where i work now.

Not the gas so much as the owner, the Venezuelan government and Chavez.

I've heard BP and Amoco is the **** for pumpgas cars. My car loved it when I filled up on 93 and drove to the norfside.

93 octane from Phillips 66. It's the only place in my town that carries Premium. Well, BP might, but my family doesn't go there anymore after we had troubles with our Fusion and the mechanic said it was due to water being in the gas.

Shell 93 is the best by me. It beats out Mobil, BP, and all of the rest. That is what I run in the Camaro. The daily driver gets 87 from Shell.

Shell 93 exclusively. It's the only "tier one" gas in my area. If GM, BMW and Toyota say it's what they feel is the best, then that's good enough for me.

In reality it doesnt matter what you buy....granted they are not supposed to but sometimes you are not getting what you are buying. My car will knock with gas from one BP station but not another. Find one station and keep usin it. I wish there was a way to tell who actually uses what they sell (ex. bp at a bp station and shell at a shell)
