O'hare had less than 8", and downtown Chicago had 10.5". Here in Lincolnwood, we had 11", but just one town north (Skokie) only had 10".
Next big snow is coming Tuesday. Get ready!

Weather man was way the hell off here in Indy. I was looking forward to 8-10 inches of the white/fluffy stuff. Instead there was a bunch of ice and about 1 inch of snow...what a bummer. I did do some laps around my neighborhood hangin' the rearend out on the dualie. It's a riot to get a big truck all sorts of sideways and steer it with the skinny pedal

I just said f it and played hookie on Friday, got vacation time to burn anyways.
The worst thing about this weather is the lack of other people's ability to ******* drive. I drove the 27 miles home on Thurs night around 8pm and the roads were passable enough to safely do 40mph, but there were just too many people that were going 10-20mph! Why the F$%^ are these people driving down the highway in these conditions? If you are that scared of driving then stay home or at least stay off the highway. That is just plain dangerous.
Al Gore, where's your global warming now bitch?

Friday morning, the Edens had a nice 1-2" of slush all over it, and I had a hell of a time trying to get away from the people doing 5mph, some of them in massive 4wd SUVs and yet still they wouldn't move. I mean, if I'm able to do 30-35mph without any problems in my little FWD/4cyl commuter car, what the **** are you doing going 5-10mph in a Suburban? It's all about driver's skill, and knowing your car. Sadly, most people don't have either of those mastered. Funny thing was, of all the people I saw lose control, crash, or otherwise do something they didn't intend to do, they were the slowest drivers out there. I was just doing my best to stay the hell away from all of them.
Oh yeah, vacation days to burn. I've got 23 of those right now. So why did I go to work again?

I got 16.5 hours of plowing in. Doing a some huge parking lot of a business that apparently employs straight-up retards. Going down a lane plowing...And they pull around the corner and stop right in front of you. Like they don't know what to do. The plow is down and you can see it pushing snow, how about get the **** out of the way.
Or pulling out of your parking spot and stopping in the middle of the aisle I'm plowing just to brush off the shitbox mini van.
And on the way home I stopped for something to drink at some gas station and the guy asked if I would plow, because no one else wanted to do it. I told him $50 considering there's 8" of snow and slush built up everywhere, and it looked like it would be a pain in the *** to plow. He laughed and said it's only worth $10 to do. I laughed and told him to **** off.

$50 was a steal on such short notice. Most anyone would jump at that, considering all the snow we had. That guy was an asshat. He offered you $10?? You shouldda punched him in the neck for that.
