Gotcha. Yeah that was amazing. Best car show I've ever gone to by far. I wish we could have stayed later but my buddy who was with me had to get home for something (what's more important than an awesome car show? Beats me). I was driving a Maroon Z28 w/SS hood with big MT DRs on the back, Convopros front and rear.

I raced a yellow '03 Cobra an the freeway with unknown mods on the way down. It was funny because my car's not that loud when I'm just cruisin so I think he thought I wasn't serious. Anyway, he ended up getting the hit so I reeled him in through 2nd, put a car and a half through 3rd, then just made him feel really bad through 4th. He didn't believe it was cam only with boltons ("dude you gotta be sprayin!! Or is it supercharged?") so I let him look around and he was stumped. LS1s baby!

 

Mac, id be down to meet up with you guys, how many people/cars you going to have with you? Maybe us illinois guys can meet somewhere, then catch up with you guys, what do te illinois fbods think? gurnee mills?

 

Just a couple right now, I'm sure more will join as the date gets closer. Right now we have a 351W swapped fox, my car, 396 SS, turbo '99 regal, 3.4 cavilier and maybe some others later.

Lol I just found out that my buddy Chris with the 351W stang is bringing some of his possy from wistangs.com so we better have a damn good showing! Lots of S/C'd stangs running around up here..

 

I went last year and it was kinda lame...only saw a couple F-bodies and they never met up anywhere....so I hung out with some of the 300zx and 3000gt guys until I got bored and just went home.

 

I was gonna go lastyear but figured it would be a waste of time. The dells is so incredily over crowded as it is during summer or spring that I figured with all the add'ed traffic it might be more of a pain in the *** then a good time

 

Full bolt ons, Heads/Cammed ls1 firebird going to be enough for most of the stangs? or do i need to call up Nitrous Outlet to get my kit?

 

I think there's a couple in the 11s so I don't think you'll have a problem I'll run you though

Sounds like this might b fun this year. Where most u guys park when ur there? I'm usually right up by the upside down whitehouse. Always c at least 3 or 4 people try playing around in there and get tickets haha.
