I've gotten my 28lbers up to around 98% in cold weather as well with SI. More common than you'd think with just some bolt ons

Ive done worse, Put new leaf spring in the 65' fastback and left a wrench used to tighten one of the nuts wedged against the frame for 2 years

Its getting there... slowly. The damn auto has been fighting me every step of the way coming out.

I've got every bolt out of the damn thing and the alignment pins are all seized up and it wont move. Me and my dad pryed, shook , and pulled on that damn thing for 4 hours yesterday.

Maybe letting some PB Blaster soak in will do the trick
