4l60e $300 I'm selling the 4L60 out of my car. Has 96k miles on it. It broke either the forward clutch or the planetaries. Has no forward gears, reverse and park still work like normal. Didn't slip or have any mechanical issue prior to what happened. I was driving in traffic and it just lost the gears...Two trans guys(Vince @ FLT and Performabuilt) both said the same thing as far as it being some sort of mechanical breakage.
So I'm selling it as is. Broken, but sounds like it shouldn't be too bad of a fix for a good trans place like FLT. So it would be good for someone needing a good core, or someone wanting to get this fixed quickly and have a nice stock trans for their car. Like I said, prior to the failure of whatever component, it was a perfectly working trans. No slippage, never stuck in any gear, no noises, etc.
I want $300 obo. With the stock converter and crossmember if needed.
