Paint bubbles
Paint bubbles I know I have seen something about this before but can not find it now. My 00 firebird hardtop is starting to bubble along the roof line. The sail panel is starting to bubble too. Does GM offer to repair this? The car only has 38k on it. Any help or number to call would be helpful. J

Some of us have gotten GM to cover the repair under the 6 year/100k mile rust-through/corrosion warranty. However, this will only help if you have an '02 car, as all the other's are out of the 6 year range.
Being that you have a hardtop, it's going to be a much bigger repair than a t-top car. More work, and significantly more money.

That thread in my link is actually titled wrong. It was never a recall, just a TSB.
From what I've read, prices for roof replacements on a T-top car range from about $1,000-1,800, and for a hardtop car about $2,000-3,000.
