Any one in chicago with their f-body down for a while? Kind of a weird request but i need to know if anyone in Chicago or around is going to have their ls1 f-body down for a while. The reason i ask is im getting a custom steering linkage made for my car becasue my turbo sits really close to it and has melted the plastic busing inside.
The people that are making it asked if i could send mine out to them so they can take measurments and make sure the one they make is right the first time. Basically i need to borrow some ones steering linkage to mail out for 1 week max just so they can look at it. Nothing will be touched on the linkage at all. This way i dont have to have my car down for a week.
Please let me know if you could help. I have a 100% positive feedback on tech and alot of the Chicago guys can vouch for me.

. If you wanna drive down here and take mine off, thats cool. I live close to joliet so about 40 minutes south of downtown
