Anyone got any pics or video of my TT Chevelle as I left the open house today? I left around 1:45 and things were thinning out and there weren't many people left. I figured no cops in sight was a good opportunity to do a burn out. I wasnt sure if 500 plus rwtq was enough to smoke em or not but it was!

Thanks for the compliment. Did I do ok? Not one for doing burnouts when a ton of people are standing right next to the car and if front of it like some were. That's a great way for someone to get hurt if something goes wrong. I figured as late as it was and with as few people were still around it was a little safer.

As far as the car goes maybe for a ZO6 warhawk APS TT car! JK, dont know if I could ever part with this thing. I have had it since high school when Tom, Jeff and I were in auto's class togther! It will be 22 years this summer that I have owned it.

 

Chevelle looked great, what controller are you using, stock pcm?

 

Stock pcm tuned by Jim. He did the tune just this week. I still cannot put into words how well the car runs with the twins and the SD tune. Got a long way to go before I'll need anything more than the stock pcm. I am planning on creeping up on the HP in stages. This year I'll run it for a while as is and then upgrade to different wg springs and a boost controller later this year. Next year we'll up the boost a little more before putting in some good pistons and rods the following year. Right now the only mods to the long block are a small cam and some good valve springs and pushrods.

Thanks! Couldn't have done it without your help. The goal when I started in January was to make the open house. Mission accomplished! Nate had a great time and asked me on the way home when the next open house was. I think he had a good time! Now I just need to get her out to Byron.
