PINKS in Norwalk - Review?

Hey guys,

I just got a phone call from my buddy who went to PINKS.

I decided to turn in my drivers ticket this past monday and said screw it to the whole thing after a horrible week of test and tune the week before, too many problems to fix, not enough time

i had a few friends racing

They ended up with two groups of final 16. The second group was the "backup" group

my buddy has a 10.0 car...beat the guy off the drop and had him, but the other guy had a 9.98 car and won.

....the guy that beat him ended up winning the $10,000! 65 year old guy, so that's pretty badass!

those who went, what'd you think?

I had a blast. Although I pretty much knew 10.70s and 10.80s wouldn't make the cut, it was fun.

Too bad they didn't do my time bracket, I woulda got to run Leo

I thought it was a great show and I had a great time. I wished I could have gotten the drivers ticket, My car runs right where they were looking I may have made the show.

At least a friend captured this off the live cam for me. This was me vs a Duster for the Arm Drop segment. I nailed the drop and had a lead all the way down the track until he ran me down and took me by 3/4 car lenght just before the trap. Don't know the times be cause the drivers don't get them on the arm drop run.

Yeah, no ****. LSX and local representation would have been nice. I think you may have had a good chance at taking it, too.

we were there in 72 Camaro that had the police car theme. Almost made the cut but our **** was too fast. Ran a 9.94 and they were looking for a 10.0 class
