Time with your son....That's the good stuff isn't it?

Always wished I had more with my Dad! That's why I looked for and found a common ground...Plus Momma and I had a blast as well...LOL

Awesome story man. I had a blast there on Saturday. It was my first time at one of these events. I plan to run my mustang in a few of the "all outs" next year. I'm glad it was a good family experience for you.

That was the first "Pinks All-Out" race I've been. It also was the greatest. My dad was the winner. I'm glad you got a pic of the car.

He was the 10 grand winner? Congrats! we were pullin' for you guys!

Thanks for the compliments guys! Glad you enjoyed my story. I plan on cleaning it up and sending it to speed and Hot Rod to see if they like it.

Congrats on that. The crowd never got to me that much, I used it as a drive to do better. Plus I have a habit of getting tunnel vision after going through the tunnel and pulling into the bleach box . Nothing but me and the tree.

We had several cars from the KC area go down but had some issues (one being the Red ProCharged Mustang photo'd above), one made it to the top 16 but had tranny issues and went out first round.

But overall everybody had fun.

I was there, car #144. Too bad my WOT switch decided to act up and the nitrous wouldn't work on Sat. I went 11.28 @ 121 on the one pass Fri on the bottle. Sat. it went 12.81 no nitrous on 22* of timing and 10.0:1 AFR. I went back over everything and went to T&T this past Tues and went 10.97 @ 124. My PINKS experience was cursed!

THe car is real heavy, i mean REAL HEAVY, it also has a cam in it that is extremely tame, its smaller than what most people put in their cam only LSx cars, 9.5:1 compression also its on pump gas and still VERY untuned, it isnt really broke-in yet yadayadayada you get the point,

i will say with a cam swap and some good air it is a 9sec car all day long even at the 3800lb race weight,

hell the red GTO only went 10.30's with a wicked 540 at 3,100lb race weight 13.1:1 compression, Alum heads, dominator car and so on, but it woke up big time on the sauce.

i think the car is right where it should be for what it has at the moment, but im sure SpaZ and his dad will get the itch for more, and they will turn me loose once again in the future.....
