All in fun, all in fun. You guys would have enjoyed it... The place we were at was right off a main strip, and these cars were being 10x as retarded as the ones you could watch at photo's. I would, will, do it again sometime. Maybe see if we can get a bigger group to go down.
Let me put it straight, they werent talking ****, just messing with us about going to hang out with racecars.

No problem at all, thank you for the purchase
I think I might have set a record for fastest throttle body swap in a parking lot if I didn't have to wait for your radiator to cool down so I wouldn't get soaked in boiling coolant lol.
Hope you beat the **** out of it like I recommended on the way home

one thing i have noticed is when i'm in neutral and i'll rev it, when the rpms start comin down it will stall at around 1100 rpm for a couple seconds then drop down to normal, around 600. is that normal for a p&p tb?

Literally just a second or two it'll stick at 1100?
I wouldn't say anything is "wrong", if there was a leak around the blade or anything, your base idle would be having issues with too much air coming in, etc. I don't knife edge the blades anyway just for that concern, so that shouldn't ever be an issue.
I wonder if the cam gear is sticking a hair for some reason and the blade isn't snapping shut promptly. Easy enough to investigate that with a screwdriver next time I see you.

k. i'm gonna go with cam gear sticking. worked fine when i tested it by hand after assembly but tolerances can change after some heat cycles on the motor. There is a tiny bit of variance in the way the blade can be positioned on the shaft in there, the holes in the blade are a wee bit oval shaped for that reason..

Mine did the same thing when Tim(smokin87ta?) ported mine. It went away, I would say its a combination of smooth finish and the heat that sticks a little? Mine would also stick a little when I would accelerate! Give it a little time.
And yes the southsiders are ******** and we do have the fastest cars!
Now what bitches!
I will aslo be going down this weekend to photos if you guys get together! Im up for it!
