Efi Shootout October 26th I-57 dragstrip is gonna hold our EFI shootout class on the 26th. Trying to make this a good turnout so they will be interested in doing this for us next year as well. Rules are the same as they were before. Gates open at 1 pm (IIRC) and racing starts at 2:30 (IIRC). Payout will depend on car count, and will pay back 100% to 1st place.
I'll copy and paste the rules in a bit. Very laid back. Basically stock style sus., factory equipped efi, and safety equip.
EFI CLASS 2008' RULES
1. $45 ENTRY FEE ($25 PER CAR PAYOUT).
2. ANY POWER ADDER.
3. NO LIMIT TO ENGINE SIZE.
4. CAR MUST OPERATE WITH FACTORY STYLE EFI (NO FAST, BS3, BIG STUFF ETC.)
5. ALL BOLT ON SUSPENSION.
6. DRIVE TIRES MUST BE D.O.T APPROVED. (FRONTS I THINK WILL BE ABLE TO DO WHAT YOU WANT. SOME WILL BE PUSHING THE LIMITS OF RADIALS
ANYWAY)
7. FACTORY FIREWALL, DASH AND DOOR PANELS.
8. BACK SEATS AND HEADLINERS OPTIONAL.
9. NO LIMITS TO TRANSMISSION. (TRANS BRAKE, TWO STEP WHATEVER)
10.MUST HAVE PROPER SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
