il be at mayo clinic in rochester sunday thru tuesday for my gf's doctor appts.During her offtime we were maybe wanting to check out the mall of america.I know its in bloomington but how far of a drive is it from where we'll be at in rochester?

 

i'd say a good 3 hours or so. figure an hour back to i35, 2 to minneapolis. maybe a little less, now that i start thinking about it. i'd devote at least 2 for the trip

 

Just go right up highway 52, there is no need to back track to I35. That would be just the biggest waste of time ever unless you like driving and spending money on gas. Just mapquest from the clinic. It take about an hour thirty minutes if you drive the speed limit, if you drive alittle fast maybe hour and fifteen. I am from Iowa and if you were coming in one straight shot to the mall then I35 would be the best. Since i have lived in Rochester all my life I know better than to drive an hour out of my way when i can just go up Hwy 52.

 

Il be in davenport sunday,then heading up to rochester sunday night or monday morning.I dont trust mapquest lol
