Is that the black one with the ZL402 badges on it, even though he doesn't have the SLP 402? I saw him here in Vista a few months ago... pulled up next to him in my Tahoe and told him he had a nice car. Whistled nicely
Fig is at mirimar, and he hasnt ran at the track that i knwo of, but considering he has a built 402 with a vortech, he said he got over 750 to the wheels when he got it dynoed. i have a friend with a 99 camaro, does a 10.3 in the quarter. but he lives off base, dont know if that counts.

fig has a procharger and i spent some time around it and i was think it was a slp 402
but i think he will not be going to the track any time soon. but i dont think its a big deal its still fast. hell my car is 99% street car any way

The one your thinking of Hawk was a guy that used to work there, hes back home now, had a nbm trans am, it was a low low 10 sec car.
As far as my buddies car, its a fully forged engine running a custom turbo kit and 150 shot of nitrious, nbm z28

I thought Fig was at the Air Station ON Pendleton... maybe I was wrong or maybe he PCS'd... You are talking about his Firehawk, right? Or does he have another car. Forgive me, I just know very little about Fig or his car, I have only met him once at hooters for about an hour or so.
I'll see you guy's in Irvine Sunday. I still think that between Miramar and Pendleton there are enough hot rods to stage a good meet one weekend.

I remember that thanks. I do have the ZL badges which was the original shortblock I was to install but but issues arose with SLP so I went with LME. Just haven't taken them off. With my luck I'll pull the paint off with them.
