There is a difference between being confident and being full of your self. Being overly cocky is not a good thing it leads to underestimating the enemy and carelessnes which aint good.

Good luck bro!!!!
I am a Navy Recruiter and I tell all my applicants to get in where they fit in!
Yeah i think the Navy is the best branch in my opinion, but i will not bash other services to people looking to join the armed forces. I tell them to look into all the branch's and make a descision from there!
I dont get along at all with the Air Force Recruiter we dont have nice things to say to each other!

I was stationed at Camp Pendleton before my Recruiting tour. I was working at the Landing Craft Air Cushioned complex. I liked Camp Pendelton.
Made some Marine friends and they were pretty cool but some of them were off there rockers!

You can have your life. Sleeping in tents in the scroching heat or pouring rain. The Air Force always put me up in a Hotel and we could bomb the hell out of anything you that bothered you and be back before dinner.

I didn't know **** about the military when I joined. I just thought to myself, "Who are the baddest mother f@#$%^s? I want to be one of them!" SO I went and saw a Marine recruiter, and now I'm an infantry Marine.

One of the coolest Marine poems ever written.
Marines talk **** to everyone. Marines from different units will **** talk the other unit. It's part of being a proud aggressive ************. The Marine Corps is about Espirit de Corps, a brotherhood and not a job.

I do dig what the Marines do though. At least they can pick a damn slogan, and stick with it, unlike "Aim High/Cross Into The Blue/No One Comes Close/Above All", or "Be All You Can Be/Army Of One/There's Strong, and Then There's Army Strong"... Man, we gotta quit with that. Haha...
On another note, about every one of my fellow Airmen who come from military families with a retired Army, Navy, or Marine father.... were all told by their dads to join the Air Force.
