Saudi Arabia/Eskan Village I got tasked to go Eskan Village with a RNLTD of 1Jun. Just wondering if anybody is there or has been there. I am going to be there for 6 months. Any info would be great.

Been there way back in 1996. Was the best deployment I ever had. Hell, I lived in an actual building there. They had a pool, good chow hall, nice rec center. It was ran by the Air Force so it had lots of amenities.
Close to Riyadh, I dont know if you can go shopping there anymore...

Well this is my first deployment and its sounds like it will be ok. I cant hardly fin danybody that has been there recently to let me know what to expect. But I guess I will find out. Thanks for all the info guys.

I was stationed there for a year when I was communications support for the Patriot Missile Battalions in ADA out of Ft. Bliss. Unfortunately, that was back in 2001. Best deployment I ever had though. Great facilities, nice pool and always someting to do. Air Force definitely took care of us while we were there.
