I signed up with the Marine Corps reserves. After a lot of thought I called my recruiter and asked how hard it would be to go active duty? He said not hard at all. I think I had to sign some new papers. Best decision I ever made.

point of the matter is..the better your asvab scores and GT score is the better jobs you get offered no matter what branch of service you choose..but DO NOT..i repeat DO NOT *take whats available* thats horse ****. its your life, your decision, and YOU gotta deal with it.. but do not just **Make Due** .. bottom line...recruiters may not outright lie to you but they damn sure dont tell you the whole truth.. GET WhAT YOU WANT, WHEN you want it, and GET IT IN WRITING!!! Promisses dont mean **** if it aint in black and white.
