Go on AKO and register for a DKO account. All the services are going to the DKO model and site eventually as one large Joint Knowledge online. The Army won the initial design concept so that is what OSD has said for everyone else to migrate to. The one lagging behind is the Air Force because the contract for their portal goes out until 2011.

I work for an Agency so I get to see a lot of the politics on stuff like this.

I tried that and you need a cac card for the DKO accuout meaning i can only do it at work i guess. I will just have to make a friend in the army.

I guess I just use my CAC for everything even at home and on the road as I have my own readers. One less password I have to remember.

I know it kinda sucks going this route but if you any Army guys at your base simply ask them to log in and then sponser your account, if not if your ever passing a recruiting station an Army recruiter can do the same thing. I'm Army and I sponsered my nephew so he can log in as well to do research. All the Marines and Navy guys here at WSMR have AKO/DKO accounts.
