yeah unfortuneately it doesnt matter if you have previously done it, you gots to do it again...

In your case I am not sure, I would talk to your 1st shirt to see what is up with this also give AFPC a call and tell them your situation and maybe they can lead you in the right direction. depending on your deployed location you may be able to be seen at another mil installation IE army.

Thanks, I am going to call the hospital today and see if they can email me the official form (422). I already passed the vision tests required so they just need to document it for me on the correct form.

My friend was just notified, he didn't get approved to cross train into this. It took him 4-6 months, I'm not sure.

all depends if hopefully there are more than 1-4 slots available

it sucks to wait that long and you get nothing from it.

if you see 1-8 slots available by the time you apply then u got to figure that atleast half those slots will be filled by the time yours gets through.

as a first term i believe you get 5 choices of AFSCs so maybe pick one that has atleast 10 openings

Last I checked, it had like 67 openings. I can't decide if I will like anything else.

The optometry clinic couldn't help me back home, so I'll be going off to the hospital in the morning, begging for a 422.

If I can't retrain, I'll probably get out.
