Question about meps Hey yall im fixin to head off to meps this week and some one told me if you wear glasses or contacts bring them along with your prescription...do i need to take paperwork prescription or just my glasses?? i know this is a stupid question but id like to know ahead of time thakns zack

I went through meps in Oct '06 and I didn't bring my perscription. They gave me a vision test and a new prescription so I'd have some some sexy new BCGs when I arrived for basic. They let me were my civi glasses when I got to ait so if your ait is cool, keep them readily avaliable so you can switch to your civi's.

i would take your paperwork just cause some mep stations will bypass the vision test and just write down your prescription others will still make you take the eye exam
