Well, I have been here 3x already.. I haven't seen anything I would love to drive. I am on FOB Marez, on Mosul.
The only speed I see is RC car racing on our track out here..

im out at Al Asad, just left KV and ill be headed to Balad to finish my other half of the tour with my unit at the Medevac compound. No nice vehicles, saw a VW bug and some 250 ninjas

yeah i think its time for us to leave. the iraqis have it handled. i have a few months left in this deployment and havent done a thing. all we do is drive around at night. complete oposite of my first deployment

well im give them that but i think we will be back to this crap hole soon unforutanatly. i just dont know why they would want to live like this scared all the time. makes me glad im just visiting

yea i heard september for stop lossed soldiers and ones who have pcs orders before march 2011. I also heard today it got shot down. That would have to be over 500 or 600 people if i had to guess in the Battalion that would be leaving early.

Hey Fritos...Can you keep me updated on what you hear...you know anything new etc...I'm sure if they do let us go back early they'll just spring it on us...It would be nice to know for sure so that I could make more definite plans....Just like when I got stop lossed I was having to ride the pine making plans to go both ways just had to wait to pull the trigger at the last min....haha...anyways...thanks

yea no prob man ill let you know if i hear anything i got stop'd loss too. im about to be heading home in a few for leave finally! got many of parts to put on the camaro its been waiting for haha

Well, like i said.. i have about 4 months left.. and i am happy to smell unburnt nitro fuel and get to tune and set up suspensions on my RC cars out here.. it is just nice to get into something different..
