we have it here at yokota one of the only four bases allowed so far and it is garbage. we have more problems now with stupid childish crap being brought into work and i hope they take it away soon.

I nearly fell out when my wife sent me a message on Facebook while at work.
Honestly, if you want to take some of the drama out of it, open it up to SSGT and above. By that grade you have a better handle on your life and know what should and shouldn't be put out there for anyone to read. It could be done really easily since you need your card to access any computer anyway.

This is retarded...more drama at work.
I couldn't disagree more, I've seen SSGTs that are no better at their job or handling life in general than an A1C.

I actually think its pretty cool....dont act like a dumb *** on it and say stupid **** and all is well. Will that happen? Prob not...but whatever, well see how long it last.

WTF?! I couldn't get onto Camaroz28.com for YEARS because it was blocked "forums and message boards"... 
Isn't it, if it's NOT for official use you technically shouldn't be on the computer?? I can see for MWR computers , but at the duty station, you shouldn't be perusing FB. Bad enough we had a dirtbag that would come in from jobs at 10am and sit his *** on the computer and play pocket-tanks. And he'd come back at 1530 and sit on that darn thing and wait for 1630 to roll around so he can go home.
and his RO never did a damn thing. it wasn't my place to say anything, and we did NOT get along as it was. I wasn't gonna start a **** storm.
I would check the boards at lunch if I had time.. But mostly we would watch Jerry Springer.

At Laughlin, we need written permission from the OG/CC to use Facebook, even though it can be accessed by anyone. I guess that's what happens when you have a base made up of 95% 2Lt's. I don't care if we can access it or not, there's no way in hell I'd log into FB on a DoD computer.
