Fort lewis sucks. Traffic is the worst at any army post I've ever been stationed at, local laws are ridiculous, the post commander is clueless, 4/2 SBCT is the biggest inside joke in the army, and on top of shitty weather and rain 364 days a year, there isn't anything remotely close to a car scene in the area 11.5 months a year.

Send me back to the south please.

lol, Its not always that bad. I really can't say, as I've never been, but everywhere you go is a bad post, the only good ones are the last one and the next one. I'm at fort lee right now, and i hate it, also hated Atlanta and Fort McPherson. I didn't like Fort sill while I was there, but now I miss it.

Ft. Lewis definitely blows *****.. In the Air Force and we had to stay at FT. Lewis for training prior to a deployment..place is awful..well, i probably would rather be there than in wyoming..

the weather did suck most of the year but summer was good. i was there 5 years. but i stayed on north fort. OP i sent you a PM i think your looking in the wrong places for car clubs ya there are alot of ricers and the sorts.

haha I know what you mean...I was there for a few years and hated the weather. Its not really rainy, it just kinda mists all day long. Enough to get everything wet and **** you off right after youve washed your car.

I luv Ft. Lewis and the surrounding wildernis areas. Hunting is awesome, tagged a 6 point double eye guard Elk, 4 point muley, 4/5 white tail, black bear. Also the fishing is awesome . Every year I was there I maxed out my salmon and steelhead punchcard.
I can't get wait to get back some day
