Any officers here on the board? Are there any officers here??? my wife wants to join the AF as an officer, but first I would like her to talk to some officer outside of my squadron, she has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a 3.08 GPA, is there a good chance for her to get accepted in OTS? should she go AD, guard or reserve? any input? thanks!!!!

Im an Army officer in the reserves but I almost went AF a few years ago after I left active duty in the army, I had a similar GPA and did well on the AFOQT and I had no problem getting in but for some reason decided to stay in the army instead and go reserve.
Whether she goes active or a reserve component depends on if she wants to make it a full time career or not. Ive been on both the active side and reserve side and sometimes the reserve side is harder since then I have 2 careers to juggle but I really love being in the reserves so its worth it I guess.
