If it's prepaid you can store it there for $2 a day, that's coming from the manager, not a recruiter.

Your orders should work. I sent him a text about the car/person thing, I'll let you know.
If you go this route it's a good idea to designate someone who can pick up the cars if need be.. injuries, not being able to adjust to military life, failing final PT test, etc.. happen all of the time in basic and you may possibly be "held over" for months. Not saying any of this will happen to you but it's something to think about.

Please excuse that previous post. I thought I was reading the current end of the thread. Turns out that I was LLMF. Please forgive my retardation and ill-timed attempt at humor. That window-licking post will be deleted!

I am an ait plt sgt at ft Rucker. We allow soldiers to have there cars after they have been there for 77 days and obtained a certain phase status. They get this status by passing a apft, asu inspection, and a handful of other things. Really it depends on your units policy though.

I figured it was about 11 weeks. It's like phase 5+ right? And they won't pay for the first move of your car but after that they will pay to transport vehicle? But only one?
Mightymike, i want to do airborne but its too late to get it in my contract. And why do they need medical lab specialists to jump out of planes lol.
One day maybe.

For our soldiers it is phase 5+. They will not pay to move your vehicle to ait. But they will pay to transport it from your house to your duty station. We are I'm the process of making it harder for our soldiers to get this phase status. One of the things were changing is we're gonna require 80 In each event on the pt test.

I was trying to sound like a dick, The army is down sizing so thats probably one way of getting the turds out that dont carry there weight.
All i was saying about airborne is that its a fun 3 weeks, and it just makes you look good
