Default Registering your car while you're out of state

Well I'm in Texas right now and will be probably be buying a car. I have a tag in Florida and would want to register it there. What would I have to do to do this I'm sure some of you guys have dealt with this being in the military I want to keep it in FL so I'll never have to deal with emissions when I move.

So will I just need paper work sent here for me to fill out with my tag because I don't have a Texas drivers license either and I know you can't register a car in a state where you don't have a license.

Just really confused lol so a little help guys?

i know most things you can do online now. You would have to check out the florida DMV website. I got a new drivers license by doing it online and mailed to me from WI to CA where im stationed. same with renewing my registration

there's still some states stuck in the stone age
like my home-of-record state, Alabama
gotta renew everything in person, unless you're overseas, then you can renew by snail mail, but it takes 2 months for anything to get back to you
