Out of State Vehicle Registration
Hello i'm in the AF and currently stationed in Nevada. My car was registered in Texas as I lived there for 6 months while in school and it has less than a year before it needs to be renewed. Would I be able to have my car registered in another state that i'm currently not living in (Ohio) since i'm military. Also i'm still a "resident" of Ohio. The reason for this is the fact I don't want to do the state emissions here at all.

if you want to register in ohio all you should need is a little from ur Sv or CC stateing that your in the AF and out of state. inculde the VIN of the car, make, model, and year so they can verify the VIN. make sure its signed by you aswell.
should read something like this
The 2002 camaro z28 with the VIN(Whatever) is out of state at AF base(whatever)
signed(name , rank) signed(name, rank)
thats what it took for me. just to be sure you can call the dmv back in ohio and check and make sure everything about what i said is correct
