So I got a message form a friend of mine today that even though the military pay act was signed, that DFAS still won't pay us since they do everything a specific way, and they aren't sure how they will do it since it is only base pay, BAH, & BAS we will be getting. Has anyone else seen this? I says on the bottom of the page that it was updated today. t was on the DFAS site, but I'm not sure the credibility of that site since I have never been to it, only the Mypay side.

i heard from our CSM (E9) that we dont get BAS either... only basic pay and BAH...

My CMC (E9) told us we will get BAS, BAH, and Base, but nothing else. I more pissed because I had a SRB from my reenlistment coming.

Lookin... Ask your CMC for a copy of the message sent out by CNO. It explains EXACTLY what you will and won't get.

Base Pay, BAS, and BAH- You'll get

HF/IDP, HDIP, SDAP, AAP, sea pay, sub pay, ect are POSSIBLE, but contingent on funds from Treasury.

At least, that's what I gleaned from it.

The way it was explained to us today is basically that unless a CR is passed tomorrow, we aren't getting paid. The Act recently signed into law to pay us is contingent on a budget that expired 30 Sept or a new one. The idea is that without a budget of some sort, the checkbook doesn't even exist much less funds in the account to use.

At this point, I don't know who to believe. I'm tired of being told different things. I know the idea may be to prevent mass hysteria, but I wish someone would put the information out there in the open, plain and simple.

Mid month should be standard, it will be the Nov 1st that will be affected. As if falls after the default date. Hopefully they get this figured out.

i got paid today but im a ANG technician. hopefully all you are getting paid now too.
