Well, come Tue, I head up north for some IED hunter/killer fun. I go home in Apr..hopefully. No mortars lately, just a few bullets bouncing down the street once in a while.

Little over a year in as a 19K-M1 Crewman. Stationed in Friedberg, Germany with 1/37 AR BN. Ship out in about 1 month to North of Baghdad. 1 of 2 Companies out of 1AD 1BG takin tanks. Rest of the companies becomin 19D. F-body less, but worked on a few before joinin, was mechanic. But i will get mine when i come back
Currently stationed in Fort Worth TX at the NAS JRB.

USAF E-4 Radar tech by trade (weather systems tech right now) with almost 6 years... I know, a 6 year E-4? There is a story behind it. I was in for 2 years and got into the Air Force Academy... did a year at the prep school and 2 at the Academy... Realized it wasn't for me so now I'm back enlisted and I chose to deploy and support my fellow soldiers... 
I'm in Qatar but I forward deploy to aid all forces in a bunch of locations. I go to Iraq, all of the stans, Africa, and a few others... just got back from Iraq today... nothing like flying around in choppers gettin shot at
Anyone else enjoy the sound of mortars?

Retired Marine GySgt checking in. Served from '79 - '99. Currently working aboard MCB, Quantico Virginia as a Budget Officer for Personal and Family Readiness Division. That's just a fancy way of saying the HQMC level of Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS).
