Anyone on here from Camp Lejuene, or the surrounding areas??? If so, there is a bunch of F bodies at Jersey Mikes on Western Blvd every Sat night. This week we are meeting at 5, because of the cold, and it gets dark early. Come on out and join us.....

I was TDY there at New River back in Sept. Went to meets at Jersey Mike's a couple times, and also to Best Buy and the local drag strip w/ the rental. Nice bunch of guys to hang out with.
Hey what happened to the Coastal Carolina F-body site? I couldn't find it the last couple times I tried to get on.

I was with 2nd Recon at Lejeune in 70 and 71. I had a 70 HemiCuda that was built to run in D/SA. It ran 10.34s 0n a 10.32 record. We were able to race four times a week back then. We raced wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons at various tracks. At that time there were probably a dozen tracks within a hundred miles. Bracket racing had never been heard of back then. It was a racers dream back then. How are things now?
