Got a set of heads if you want them. Just have to have them built up....you can just ask on the NW forums..they can tell you who to take them too for a valve and port job. I can polish the T-body and port you mass airflow sensor ends if they are the stockers. If you wanna barrow the dremal I can drop it off to ya.
Going to the Dyno today, going to try to get a lil tuning in if they have a wide band.

Depends on your MOS and what you will be doing, And what part your going to.. If your training the monkeys it will be a breeze for ya... lots of time off and youll probablly be in a first seargent position as an e-6 youll probablly take them on a few patrols a week but the living conditions suck..

thats really just gonna depend on where your at, an your job-since your training iraqi's im gonna assumer your SF or infantry, so your living conditions would probably be different than support troops. Where i'm at its pretty nice but its very very garrisoned so we have to watch what we do alot of the times.

So I'm currently thinking about reenlisting for Fort Lewis. I was wondering what you guys (and ladies) can tell about the unit and post. I'm 11b fyi. I don't really have any specific questions. Just looking for some general information. How is the weather? I hear it rains a ton there. Is there lots of snow? How are the oppurtunities for activities such as hiking and biking and whatnot? How is Seattle in general? I'm currently stationed in the D.C. area, so if anyone can use that for comparison it would be great. Just let loose with anything you'd like to throw at me.
Thanks
Thanks

Not alot of snow unless you head to the Mountains.
Living here there are lots of Bike trails in the area, & you are about 2-3hrs from the beaches & about 2hrs from Mount Rainier both have lots of trails for hiking & even Bike trails.
You are about 1.5hrs from seattle so you dont have to deal with it unless you want to.
Fort Lewis is part of Tacoma & its a pretty good size city, If you want to not live in the City & you have a family then move out to places like Yelm or Roy or even Rainier. Sumner is also a good place to live at.
there are car clubs out in this area that are really good, most of them do Car club Challange which is dragracing against other car clubs, We also do lots of Shows & gatherings.

Fort Lewis is a love it hate it post, just about everybody in my unit hates fort lewis because of the weather, To me the rain doesnt bother me i'll take a fort lewis winter over an iowa winter any day of the week, I love it here, its grown on me-i have some great memories of this place including meeting the woman i love so thats all i care about. My only complaint is the traffic especially on 4 day weekends-"right guys" nearly impossible on a friday afternoon to get off the base.
