Default Hello from U.A.E.

Been deployed here for a little over a month. Wooo 90 days to go before I can take the T/A to the track.

Ofcourse the 90 degree weather here is WAY better than the 30 degree/snow hitting NJ right now

Got my Mac Y-pipe and Poly Engine Mounts in the cart on Year One, probably buy it in a few days. Almost put the whole poly suspension kit in there but figured I can wait a few more months! And get my subframe connectors from UMI here shortly too, can't wait to put them all in when I get back! Still looking for heads/cam and whatnot though. I'm thinking of getting the camshaft package from Texas-Speed comes with pushrods and springs, then get fully assembled heads and sell the spring kit Save me a couple dollars.

Nah you were lucky that I drove my bomb all the way to the meet. Now that I have all the new mods I hate my car even more. By the time you get back in 90 days I might need a hearing aid from the rear noise.

Now you know how I feel. It's nice having alot of power, but the car doesn't like to behave itself. I know when I open the cutout and put it in 3rd it's LOUD

LOL, congrats on leaving. Camaroguy and I have 2 more months until we go back to mcguire. Yeah, same rules still in effect. I'm actually pissed it changed so much. My first time coming over was in 99. My squadron(kc-10s) has been on the same schedule since around 94(4 days on 2 days off with a days, mids, and a float shift). Now we get here in january and everyone that isn't working a maintenance job is bitching because we get 2 days off when they only get one. Ofcourse they don't work all day on the flightline or pull the hours we do. So they finally won and got our schedule changed to a 6 on and 1 off like theirs = rant off. They need to keep their minds in their own coolaid lol
Yes, there are way too many rules

Hey there,
I was stationed in Al Dahfra back in 02 right after the crap hit the fan.
We were still able to go downtown and do stuff every once in awhile. Shoot, we went deep sea fishin, went to Dubai to the water park. We had beer night 3 times a week.
I was there with the 820 Red Horse, so we had our own section of tent city for ourselves (own showers, moral tents ect..). I bet it pissed a bunch of people off when 300 of us just showed up one day!
We built the big clam shell hangers, fire house... and some other stuff out there
Stay safe out there!

We can have beer every night now, but only 2 lol. It's not bad just having to deal with 3 sets of rules(ACC, AMC, and UAE) is a MAJOR pain in the *** and I'm only working in CTK. The guys on the flightline have it bad. I was deployed to Qatar feb-apr of 02 and there were a bunch of red horse guys there. We still get to go downtown and do the water park thing. I stay my *** on base though lol.
