With out being too much of a loyalist....
The reason for Blue to Green is because the other services are downsizing. The Army, needing people, will be happy to take you. I am Army and I dont hate life. I think the Army has alot to offer me in job training and excitement such as Airborne,Air assualt and the like. I eat this stuff up.
But I guess it can be said that its not for everyone. Just like the military in general. If you think its for you, take a look into it. We have all sorts of specialties.
And I can pretty much promise you you will get promoted past E4. But you only get out of the Army that of witch you put in. Do just enough to get by, dont go to schools, and youwont get much out of it.
