Whats up everyone, I'm deployed here in DG. If you are Navy or Air Force I'm sure you know where it is. If not, its a little island in the Indian ocean just below the equator. Anyway, anyone been here before, its not to bad it could be a lot worse.

lol...the only thing that freaked me out was being surrouned by sting rays today when I was in the lagoon but it was funny as hell to watch one of my buddies scream like a little bitch and try to run in the water, I laughed my *** off.

Ive been there twice in the past 4 years and loved it every time. You cant ask for a better location to go to. The Brit Club is always fun and getting a MoJo
from the E-club now that will make your head spin after 1!!! I was also over there from Jan of 05-May 05 good times the tuna dont start running till about now so the fishing should be good, and if your going to be there a while you should learn how to fly fish for Bone fish, that is a real good time. The only draw back to the place is that there is always drama
, i guess once a week something is going wrong!!! Enjoy it out there its one of the best locations you can be!!!!

So far I've only been to the Britt club once and it was dead...it should start picking up though. Were only allowed to be there untill 12am though cause of all the drama. The other one called phill mal or what ever was banging though. I went to the Navy Petty Officer club the other day for a volley ball tourney against the Navy....and ofcourse we won, lol. Sorry Navy dudes but I guess they have not beat us AF guys in the past 2 rotations and we play once a month. They were cool guys though.

DIEGO GARCIA! What a beatiful island. For about a month or so. After that it just gets old. I am a Hydro troop in the AF now stationed in Aviano, Italy. I was previously stationed at Barksdale, La. A hydro guy on the Buff. I was there for about 8 yrs. or so. I have been to Diego a total of about 11 mts. I showed up on the rock for the first time about Sept. 22nd of '01. We built tent city. There wasn't one tent there when I showed up. We had to sleep in the little AGE hanger that is across from the chow hall. Atleast it use to be and AGE hanger? We had the soft *** tents with dirt floors. It flooded a few times and ruined alot of peoples **** so then CE got smart and started to build wooden floors for everyone. It was a trip man. Sleeping on the cots with nothing but a sleeping bag. The next time I went back they had twin bunk beds. Nice comforter sets and hard shell dome tents. Night stands and wall lockers. Nice little lamps for reading and ****. They had a little shoppette in tent city and a gym. It freakin' blew up from the first time that I had been there.
Man I miss the jumbo teryaki burger from the Seamans club. And playing pool at Turner club. Does anybody know about Yum Yum? The cross dressing Philappino guy that use to work in the chow hall in tent city?
I met this AF girl there. A B-1 jets back shop chic. Not saying any names but we use to wear that call box on ball field #2 behind the gym OUT! There was a nice fold out couch in there when I was there the first rotation.
Anyhow, good to talk to people that know about the rock. It was definately one of the highlights of my career.
I noticed someone asked about Guam? My wife is Chamorro and is native of Guam. She is from Dededo. I have been there for about 10 mts. total and loved it. The best tdy I have been on so far! I met her down in Tumon and we hit it off. I brought her back with me and now 3 yrs. later it's great.
