You polish your boots with a hershey bar or something? J/K just had to give you ****.

My fav deployment pics? Hmmm... I have thousands of pics, but two cool ones that come to mind are:

1-Taken during a lightning storm in Erbil, northern Iraq, at the end of April after the war started:

2- Picture of my platoon during a trip into Erbil a few weeks later at the foot of a statue. I am the second from the right, bottom row:

Ha! Those are my buddies. I think his polish melted off but I can't speak for certain.

I should take a pic of my Corcoran Jump Boots. I need to give them another shine but when I had them shined up good you could comb your hair looking at them and see the different parts of your eye ball in them
I am sure I have over 40hrs in them.... dress BDU's only for them.
Just KIWI black, 100% pure cotton ***** and cold purified water.....

Yea I am all about the KIWI, tried using the parade gloss once on my low quarters and it looked pretty good. I start off with warm/hot water and then let it go down to room temp. Helps the first layer fill in all the scuffs and dents.

If you become a flyer you'll rarely polish your boots since you mess them up everytime you fly.

They're comm guys, need I say more?
We spend more time troubleshooting circuits than putting rounds downrange- figures.

Rog. I haven't touched my flight boots yet, and don't plan on it. I've got marauders for work days, plain ole' flight boots for flying days

Never even heat mine up. I got better results the colder I got the boots to be honest. Parade is ok but not as good as a talented person with regular black. Filtered water does help out alot. Once you get to that level you have to use 100% cotton or if will leave spider scratches in the finish, just like wax on a car...
I really should go back to shining them again, it was a good relaxing hobby.
I think my sides were as shinny as your toes on those boots.

Oh and yes I do have the "work boots" the above are just the dress BDU boots that don't come out much

Also some are rather bloody and would not be of a PG-13 nature. I know of a few guys that have a "family safe" picture book, and a "not family safe" picture book.
It would get you the ban button on here haha
