im tryin to use that site now but i cant play any of my games off of www.mofunzone.com ?? X( i un-checked the box for disabling client-side javascript, an that got me at least one step closer, but, i still cant figure out how to get the games to work.

i used to use ip-addresshide.info for my proxy, and i cul still play the games off of mofunzone.com, but that site's blocked now. evilchili.com vids and games wont work either

anyone else havin a prob with usin this site for games?

THey know when you are doing the proxy server thing. A couple guys that I know got LOR's and one got a 15 for using that ****.

Ebay should be blocked for all DoD computers real soon. There is a directive out there specifically for Ebay and MySpace. Ls1tech is blocked over here in the sand box but you just gotta know how to get around..

I think NMCI just blocks them after repeated use. i haven't seen anyone get in trouble for it.

Why would they block things like ebay? It's not ****, this site rocks, I'm fine with not seeing the pic being posted because if I really wanted to see them, I'd just pm that person.

Taking up bandwidth on an official military system that is for "official use only" is the reason. It sucks but I am a Signal guy and I understand what this **** costs. It is not cheap at all to have a network as everybody wants.

ok so i was at work about a week ago and on LS1tech looking at pics and such. One of the NMCI reps walk in and see me and then see's that im using a proxy (http://www.pcm-clan.com/woot/) so i went in to work yesterday and guess what, i CANT use the same proxy. ****!

Isn't the NMCI supposed to go away soon? I read in the MC times that it is a huge failure and that every Marine on earth hates it. They want to replace it with something more useful.

They aren't getting rid of it. My at my bro's base the old Sgt Major of the Marine Corps did a tour. A Marine asked why don't they get rid of it. His answer was something like it would cost so much money that it isn't worth getting rid of it. They would rather keep it and just deal with it.

It mainly has to do with use of gov. resources for personal gain. Troops could be buying & selling **** all day. Plus the use of the bandwidth for non-official use. One of the computers guys gave me admin rights on the machine I mainly use, so I could install Acrobat since he's lazy and I know what i'm doing. I keep this machine clean, and installed defrag utilities, spybot, ad-aware, and registry optimizer programs on it. It is the fastest computer in the shop, faster than better machines in here as well. A couple of weeks ago, I had to backup some work related documents (Performance reports, bullet catchers, etc.) and I didnt have anywhere to back them up. So, i just FTP'ed them to my personal server. I had to do it again later, but I couldn't use "my" computer. i had to use another one in the office that I didnt have admin rights to. That means i couldnt erase my tracks. The damn help desk busted me for using FTP to a non-government computer, and took that machine out of the office. I don't believe thats in the SATE training you have to accomplish before they give you an account. So now everyone in the office is pissed at me for reducing the # of computers in the shop. So now we have to share a little more. So long story short, dont screw with the gov. machines because the help desk gets stupid now a days.
