Good laugh, I can relate to a lot of that. For me the military is what you make it. I have 8+ years in and there have been some really sucky times..REALLY!! (crew chief) But there have been some really good ones too. Its given me a lot and Im thankfull for that. Its not for everyone. Im currently retraining into the firefighter side and wouldn't trade it to be a civilian, no way.

How about you try staying out of trouble and just doing your damn job. It's the military bro.. not cradle school. I'm sure you'll be missed when you don't re-up.
He is that exact guy the joke is about. HAHAHA Nice job reading the first few lines.

However, I owe alot to the Corps. It's made me who I am now. But I also believe I paid that crap back. They need not to be calling me back.

What's the chances of a chick in the military, good looking, and owns an f-body? Like 1 billion to one. Yea that doesn't exist.

Funny, yet true. 45 reasons why I probably won't re-up when the time comes. However, I have gotten a lot from the military, helped make me who I am...

well i guess i'm not even sure how it works..the gi bill that is. so i guess it's used to pay tuition and everything else you need while going to school? books, rent? if there's no tuition..then you pocket all of it?

Yup you get full payment for going full time (at least 12 credits) and you use it for what ever. Like I said I use mine for books and supplies at first then it goes to rent. However you only get paid when you are currently in school not in between semesters. Its a great program that I thought I would never use when I first joined.

so do you get a payment for the 12 credit semester or do you get paid per month. And how much do you get?
