Regarding panels and compartments, the 135 has a Georgia Panel and a Chevy Panel (looks like a chevy logo turned sideways). And just inside the Georgia Panel is the 'hell hole', so named because its hell to get into and out of. And the interior leaves much to be desired.

I've been out of heavies for about 1 1/2 years. I hear it only gets worse and worse.

Yea, the B-52 has a hell hole too. A real PITA to get up there to check out the flap motor.

I thought the heavy world could get no worse, but I guess I was wrong. I have been out for 4 months, and I still hear from my old troops about how REALLY screwed up it is getting......

we've got a hell hole on the b-1 too, cause it's a bitch to work on anything in there. also got an oklahoma panel, a coffin panel (shaped like an old six sided coffin)...on a side note, we pulled a panel a couple of years ago that nobody had ever even heard of bein pulled, so in our turnover log we called it a muff diver panel. i got was written that way for weeks...and i actually had a smsgtand a butterbar come to the jet and use that term...i laughed out loud.
