sonoran gives discounts at the track and have dyno discounts too just to give you a heads up

 

yeah i talk with the guy every time i go to the hobby shop(the guy that bought it) his name is james. he is pretty cool i sure didnt know that the car was in the 10's i figured it would be quick when i heard the s/c.

 

I know the guy, Prince, that had it in QA had a 125 shot on it too. He also has a 72 Z28 with a 355 in it he is selling for like 3500

 

yeah i seen it settin at the hobby shop, i talk with him every now and then if he is up there and i am there. im sure everytime i do he is like who the hell is this guy.

 

Hey guys new to the site, and kind of new to the base. I got to DM back in Jan. I've got an 87 Firebird white with orange stripes. I've seen just about all these cars ya'll talked about. There's also a guy in my shop w/ a 98 camaro with the ls1 and 6 spd. I've seen a lot of nice f-bodies on base. I actually joined the site to sale my car, but haven't had any bites. I think it's going to be too hard to get it stickered here in AZ... perks of being military, it's still stickered in TX. Do you guys ever meet up? that and where and when can I take in some good car shows around here?

I live on base and hardly ever drive the car off base. So if you see me more then likely it'll be on base.

 

Have any of you ever gone to the in-n-out burger on Broadway on Saturday nights??? I know it's like the Sanora muscle car hang out... But I was just wondering if it is something worth crusing by and checking out?

Dyess it not that bad, better then it was 6-7 yrs ago.... Outside the base the car culture is not to bad... Usually see alot of cars on the weekends during the summer, but it has gone down hill a little due to folks getting orders

Just meet up with some of the cool guys on base there and some the cool locals and you will be fine. I own a house there if your ever looking to buy. Im renting it now. Good luck!

 

that **** is dead and it was awful, just awful... we need a real group in tucson...sonoran doesnt do ****...just **** talk and bash on eachother...i rarely find a intelligent conversation on that forum...but i continue to hope that maybe one day they will have a hangout or event..but so far it looks to be in vain.

Whats up Paul, I got the heads on the car and its running horrible right now but all is about to change haha.

I agree about SMC its alot of **** talking but there are a few people there that are worth having a talk with.

i'm looking at trying to PCS to DM and wondering what you guys did for emissions. out here at offutt we dont have that issue and i've taken advantage of that for the 9 years i've been here so needless to say my car has no gear on it at all.
